Who We Are

Chicago Studio City is an independent film studio featuring 8 sound stages that reach 40 feet to the grid and range from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet, for a combined total stage space of 146,000 square feet. Our facility offers stages that have production-adjacent fully furnished office spaces with large bullpens and suite-style executive offices and 700 parking spots on a 13 acre property.

CSC is known for offering a hands-on and highly personalized experience. Our studio is centrally located less than 10 miles from both major airports (O’Hare and Midway), 15 minutes from downtown Chicago, and directly off of the I-290 Expressway for convenient access to the Loop and the surrounding suburbs. And just minutes away from a historic and diverse collection of Chicago’s finest neighborhoods. Chicago Studio City has been serving the film industry for decades and is considered the most trustworthy independent studio in the Midwest.

CSC can also meet your equipment needs. We offer a full inventory of lighting and grip equipment, as well as expendable items, generators, honey wagons, booms and scissor lifts, trusses, and more.

Since the renewal of the Illinois Film Production Tax Credit Act, now more than ever is an excellent time to bring your production to Illinois. The state is offering a 45% Transferable Tax Credit.
